These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in cabin charter experiences offered by Sailing Salty Adventures.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

1. Eligibility & Participation
• All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Guests must join the experience as a couple or family. Solo participation is not accepted unless explicitly agreed in advance.
• This experience is not a cruise or luxury charter. It is a hands-on sailing and onboard living experience.

2. Nature of the Experience
Sailing Salty Adventures offers an experiential sailing lifestyle journey, not a serviced cruise.
Therefore:
• All participants are expected to actively take part in daily onboard life, including:
• Grocery shopping (provisioning)
• Meal preparation
• Dishwashing
• General tidiness and shared responsibilities
• The purpose of this experience is to learn and live the reality of sailing yacht life, not to be served by crew.

3. What Is NOT Included in the Price
Unless otherwise stated, the charter fee does NOT include:
• Fuel costs
• Marina and port fees
• Provisions and groceries (kumanya)
• Transportation to and from the yacht (including flights)
• Personal expenses on shore
These costs are shared or paid individually by participants as agreed on board.

4. Routes & Schedule
• Sailing routes, ports of call, and schedules are weather and sea-condition dependent.
• Routes published on the website or calendar are indicative only and may change for safety or operational reasons.
• Participants must remain in contact with us before booking flights or final travel arrangements.

5. Safety & Conduct
• Participants must follow the instructions of the skipper at all times.
• Alcohol consumption must be responsible and must never compromise safety.
• The skipper reserves the right to terminate participation without refund if safety or respectful conduct is compromised.

6. Booking & Payment
• A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
• Prices may vary depending on season, route, and availability.

7. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a cabin charter with Sailing Salty Adventures, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. Cancellation by Guest
• Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure: deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred to a future available date (subject to availability).
• Cancellations made less than 60 days before departure: no refund will be issued.
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellations, medical issues, and unforeseen events.

2. Cancellation by Sailing Salty Adventures
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to:
• Severe weather conditions
• Safety concerns
• Mechanical or technical issues
• Force majeure events
In such cases, guests will be offered:
• An alternative date, or
• A partial or full refund at our discretion

3. No-Shows
Failure to arrive on time at the agreed boarding location will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

1. Assumption of Risk
Sailing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
• Changing weather and sea conditions
• Physical activity on a moving vessel
• Limited access to medical facilities
By participating, guests voluntarily accept all risks associated with sailing and onboard life.

2. Personal Responsibility
• Guests are responsible for their own health, fitness, and medical conditions.
• Any medical conditions or special requirements must be disclosed prior to booking.

3. Limitation of Liability
Sailing Salty Adventures, the vessel owner, skipper, and crew shall not be held liable for:
• Personal injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings
• Delays, route changes, or cancellations due to weather or safety reasons

4. Insurance
The vessel is fully insured in accordance with maritime regulations.
Guests are strongly advised to hold personal travel and medical insurance.

5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable maritime and international regulations.
