Joining Sailing Salty Adventures means becoming part of real life aboard a sailing yacht—not just a holiday, but an authentic sea-going experience.
You will live, sail, and share daily life aboard our yacht alongside experienced sailors. This is a hands-on experience where guests actively participate in onboard routines, including cooking, provisioning, cleaning, and general boat life. The goal is to experience and understand what living on a sailing yacht truly means.
Depending on weather and conditions, each day may include sailing, anchoring, marina stops, swimming, and coastal exploration. Guests are welcome to take part in sailing activities such as sail handling, watchkeeping, route planning, and basic seamanship—no prior experience is required.
Our routes are always planned with safety as the priority and may change due to weather or sea conditions. While we share estimated routes in advance, flexibility is essential. This approach allows us to sail safely and enjoy the journey rather than rushing to fixed destinations.
This experience is not a cruise. Guests are expected to contribute to daily onboard life, including meal preparation, grocery shopping, and keeping shared spaces tidy. Working together is part of the learning and bonding experience on board.
Guests stay in comfortable double cabins with private bathrooms. Guest numbers are intentionally limited to ensure a relaxed, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere on board.
Throughout the journey, guests gain practical sailing knowledge, confidence at sea, and a deeper understanding of navigation, weather awareness, and yacht maintenance—all through real-life experience.
